Your potential production impacts:

Please check each box once you have read and assessed the potential impacts.

Energy

Electricity from the national grid, or portable generators used to power on location lighting. Consider using biodiesel or solar generators, which are both widely available.

Travel

Travel with crew to and from locations, on-site travel and staff commutes. Consider whether travel will affect local communities, and whether your location team should contact local councils and community bodies.

Water

Water usage may include drinking water or grey water for the kitchen and facility vehicles.

Waste

Waste from catering, production office and art department. Green Screen requires you to run a simple recycling programme as mandatory.

Procurement

Procurement including paper usage for call sheets, movement orders, risk assessments, as well as office procurement and set supplies for art department, costume and make up.

Environmental policy

The producers of Tesco Aldi Price Match have signed up to reduce our environmental impacts and have agreed to be a part of The Green Screen Environmental Production Programme. We will be filming in Brent and at and will communicate our commitment to our cast and crew, supply chain and stakeholders by way of publishing a Crew Memo on our call sheet.

To support this common goal we will:

• Ensure that all relevant environmental legislation and regulation is applied to our production practices during filming.

• Protect the health and safety of our employees and surrounding communities and ecosystems.

• Use natural resources, including raw materials, energy, and water, as efficiently as possible.

We will work to achieve these commitments by agreeing to seven mandatory requirements:

1. The producer will complete this Environmental Policy which will generate the Crew Memo that goes on our first day's call sheet.

2. Have a Green Steward to oversee the environmental programme.

3. Implement a production recycling programme.

4. Won't use polystyrene in the catering dept. (It is carcinogenic and non recyclable.)

5. Donate any unwanted production assets (food, props, clothes, etc.) to charity.

6. Implement a 'Switch Off' energy reduction campaign.

7. Implement a no-idling policy for all vehicles.

Note: Your production Environmental Policy can be distributed to your cast, crew and suppliers in prep as a declaration of your environmental ambitions.

Choose at least one additional goal from each section:

Reduce

We will always print and copy double sided (if printing is essential).

We will donate any unwanted scenic flats to film schools (see Resources)

We will run a composting programme for all food waste.

Conserve
